About Brett

As a Senior Technician, Brett deals with more complex issues, providing assistance to the technicians and service desk as required. One to two days a week, you’ll find him at Leighland Christian School where he oversees the day to day running of the school, liaising with third party vendors (i.e. security, phone systems etc.) to resolve issues.

The onboarding of Leighland Christian School required a significant overhaul of the network to ensure that all servers, switches and access points were up to date with firmware as well as upgrading operating systems that were end-of-life to minimise security risks. Security and compliance within the Microsoft 365 was also addressed and changes to licensing made to implement advanced features. This laid the foundation that ensured the school was able to implement strategies that enabled them to cope with staff needing to work from home and students undertaking e-learning with minimal disruption.
